In short:
Writing + Direction + Music
IN MEDIUM:
My name’s Pete and I’m a self-taught writer and filmmaker with a background in music.
Between 2019-22, I performed all behind camera roles on my micro-budget feature film, partly because I’m a glutton for punishment, but mostly to teach myself about the many crafts needed in producing a feature film.
In 2025, my sci-fi/comedy feature script was shortlisted for the John Hinde Award for Excellence in Science Fiction Writing by the AWG.
AT Great LENGTH, WITH unweildy detail and harrowingly unfocused sentence construction:
It was the dawn of the digital age, and I was but a young lad when the Canon MVX3i camcorder was released and… No. It’s neither the time nor the place for any of that.
Feel free to get in touch with me at: peteraredhead@gmail.com - and if you’re based in Melbourne, let’s grab a coffee and talk shop!
Cheers,
Pete
